Virtual Business Consultant is a distinctive concept created by New Horizon International Consulting, LLC and its founder, Scott Romeo. Scott has been providing management and business consulting services to organizations for over a decade. He has a Master's Degree in organizational management and he has taught over fifty MBA courses at the university level throughout his career in the areas of project management, strategic planning, leadership, change management and other courses. He served three terms on the Board of Directors and was then elected the 2001 co-president of the Arizona Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants.

Over time, Scott discovered that not every consulting engagement requires getting on a plane and flying to a location. In fact, while serving as a consultant for the City of Phoenix, Scott learned that many engagements can be completed by email or telephone conversation on a specific subject. He found that many assignments can be completed "virtually". This saves clients travel and other expenses, which can add up over time. It is with this in mind that Scott developed the "Virtual Business Consultant" network of professionals.

The VBC consulting network consists of highly qualified consultants from across the United States who have specialized expertise and experience in their areas of specialty. Under the VBC model, consultants are trained to use virtual tools that enable them to consult in a virtual environment.
